Oh boy oh boy! I was so excited! So excited that I nearly got lost! Thankfully, Trianne decided to meet me and my mom at the gas station. She led us down some winding roads to her house, where I finally got a chance to relax with one of my favourite authors. (Update: Some pictures have been taken down upon request.)

For dinner, Trianne took us out to this pub on the outskirts of town. I enjoyed it, mainly because we could talk about Lord of the Rings and my mom didn't roll her eyes (for once). As we went back, Trianne took us past this church. From what I gathered, she said it was one of the oldest churches still in England. (Did I mention that the local castle was a location for Ivanhoe?)

I'm sorry that the meeting was only for an evening. I really, really would have liked to stay, but I'm afraid I might still be there if I had. Trianne is amazing, really. I hope I'll get to see her again sometime! Meanwhile, we returned home in the dead of night for the next day's adventure...
